Stefan was working as a general practitioner dentist, having locals as his patients. Prior to the trip to Vanuatu, Stefan raised money in Auckland, New Zealand. While in Aneityum, he was trying to motivate the local population regarding oral hygiene skills and train local candidate to continue their professional work, creating local community dentally self-sufficient. Also, they worked hand in hand establishing future plans for the community to be able to provide dental care for adjacent islands and consequently making money for themselves.
